Chorus Commercial
Business finance, with the numbers checked before you commit.
Equipment, premises, a development, working capital or a business purchase: we show you what lenders will look at, what it costs and what to do next.
General information only. An enquiry is not an application.
An enquiry is not an application. Nothing goes to a lender, and your credit file is not checked, until you decide to proceed.
A broker reads every enquiry and contacts you to agree a time to talk. The first conversation is about your business, not a product.
We look at what repayments the business can afford, not only what a lender will approve. Sometimes that means recommending less, or waiting.
Start with the job
What does the business need to fund?
Fund equipment or vehicles
Trucks, machinery, fit-out and specialist assets, with repayments matched to the income the asset earns.
Buy or refinance premises
Owner-occupied premises, an investment property, or a purchase through your SMSF, with the deposit and lease questions answered first.
Fund a development
Land, construction and end-of-project loans, for a first duplex or an experienced developer's next project.
Smooth cash flow or clear ATO debt
Overdrafts, lines of credit, invoice finance and ATO debt, compared on total cost rather than the headline rate.
Buy a business
Finance to buy a café, restaurant, salon or trade business. If you want us to check the price and the debt before you buy, that is a separate, paid service. We agree the scope and fee first.

How it works
What we do for you, in four steps.
We look at what repayments the business can afford, not only what a lender will approve. A recommendation to wait, or to stay with your bank, is a possible outcome.
- 01
Understand your business
Tell us what the finance is for, how much, when, who will borrow and how the business earns. We ask for documents only once we know which lenders fit.
- 02
Compare your options
We compare suitable lenders on total cost, structure and conditions, and explain the trade-offs in plain English. Waiting, or staying with your bank, can be the right answer.
- 03
Set the terms
The loan term, any lump sum at the end, the security, presales, progress payments and review dates are set to fit how the business earns and pays, not the lender's standard template.
- 04
Settle and follow through
We prepare the application, handle lender questions and valuations, and stay with you through settlement.
Before you enquire
Three things people ask first
Does an enquiry affect my credit file?
No. Sending an enquiry does not authorise a credit check. Before any lender assessment, your broker explains what is checked, whether it is you or your company, and why.
What does the broker cost?
For most loans the lender pays Chorus a commission when your loan settles. Where we charge a fee, for example on some development or private lending, we tell you in writing before you proceed. Advice on the price, the debt or the funding plan is a separate service with its own agreed fee. You can ask for the amounts at any time.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
A broker reads it and contacts you to agree a time to talk. In that conversation we confirm the amount, the timing and which documents the likely lenders will ask for. Nothing goes to a lender, and your credit file is not checked, until you decide to proceed.
Figures across this site were checked on 8 September 2026. All questions, by type of finance.
Ready when you are
Tell us what the business needs to fund.
Four short steps: what to fund, the business, your details, then review and send. A broker reads your answers and contacts you to agree a time to talk. Nothing goes to a lender until you decide.
